The Shirebourn is a river that arises in the foothills of Green Hill Country, runs past Woodhall, continues on through the Marish, and at last empties into the Brandywine south of Stock. Although the Shirebourn River is not directly connected to the Water that runs parallel to it further north, it is quite possible that the Shirebourn's underground water source is fed by the Water below ground. Another water source is a waterfall that flows from the Southfarthing and pours into the Shirebourn just west of Narrowcleeve.
