I'm not sure if it's now considered in a different quest chain or something, but it appears that this quest does not become available until sometime in the chain of quests that includes Quest:House of the Master and I believe that starts at the Last Bridge. I wasn't being offered this quest and didn't get a direct answer as to how to get it from Google, but Forum Post link 1 and Forum Post link 2 at least got me thinking I needed to complete some main story quests starting at the Last Bridge before I'd get offered Quest:The Riddle-game. I didn't check in between any of the other quests in the chain, but Quest:House of the Master was the first thing that took me to Rivendell and I was offered Quest:The Riddle-game immediately after completing Quest:House of the Master. I'll at least update the article to reflect the new quest granter, since that seems clear to me on how it should be done. While checking/confirming my edits, I now see that Quest:The Riddle-game is not directly granted by Elrond necessarily, so I don't have it yet, but it is apparently a sub-quest of Quest:A Place of Rest, which is apparently a quest new to this wiki. -- Vengador42 (talk) 02:35, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
Bilbo Baggins still grants the quest, so apparently the quest chain part and Quest:A Place of Rest being new are the only related changed I know at this point. -- Vengador42 (talk) 02:39, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
Since Quest:Frodo's Burden references Quest:A Place of Rest, which says you must "Complete The Riddle-game quest arc" and "Complete Frodo's Burden", apparently Quest:The Riddle-game should look more like Quest:Frodo's Burden now. -- Vengador42 (talk) 03:00, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
Nice job narrowing down the bread-crumb trail! Question: Are these riddle quests still identified (in your quest log) with the "The Riddle-game" quest chain? Since named quest chains are mostly a relic of the old world at this point and the newer additions in the revamp don't seem to have a chain attached to them (I'm not sure where Category:The Valley of Imladris Quests came from), it's a little iffy what to do about this little set here. Thanks! Sethladan 03:40, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
They do indeed appear to still be with the "The Riddle-game" quest chain. Looking at my quest log, it lists the level of the quest (which I'm about to update now that I notice the wiki lists a different number) and the name of the quest on the first line of the blue "header" above the Bestowal Dialog heading. The last line of the "header" appears to be the quest group, "Trollshaws" in this case. Other than the icon on the lower left indicating that they are solo quests, both Quest:A Place of Rest and Quest:Frodo's Burden contain nothing else in the "header". By contrast, Quest:The Riddle-game, and Quest:The Riddle-finder and the others, have "The Riddle-game" in a line between the first and last line. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vengador42 (Contribs • User Talk).
That confirms what shows up in my quest log and is exactly what I wanted to know, thanks. I'd completed these ages ago and figured it was worth checking if there'd been a change (completed quest log doesn't always reflect the reality). Go ahead and update what you're able to, and hopefully someone more involved with questy things will figure out how to tie up the new "non-quest-chained" issue. Sethladan 22:43, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Ah, then I should clarify that I got that information from the quest log while showing completed quests. I completed them while/after making my comments on the 12th. As for fixing the article and such, maybe an idea or approach will come to me that makes sense. Most of my hesitence is about how things are arranged in the wiki and not being sure of related details. Maybe I'll give it a shot anyway. -- Vengador42 (talk) 00:28, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
Keep in mind -- the Completed Quest Log ALWAYS shows the text of the quest at the time it was completed. It is never updated if the quest is updated in a subsequent update. These quests were probably all revised during the Trollshaws update in ?Update 14? (I forget) when there were several areas updated. (Including Misty Mountains and the Trollshaws as I recall.)

I recall it being Update 13 they were updated in. In any case, from Wm Magill's information, it sounds like my Completed Quest Log data should be accurate since I completed the quests only four days ago. -- Vengador42 (talk) 04:38, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
