Envelopes and Where to Find Them

There are so many different places to find envelopes on the landscape, stretching all the way from the South Gate to the chicken coop near the Prancing Pony. I've been snapping pictures of some of these places for my own reference/rememberance, and I could try uploading them here as a sort of visual guide, but with so many spots, it's bound to be rather long. Worth the effort? Or stick to the coordinates list here? -- JnK (talk) 13:28, 23 April 2012 (EDT)

I'd say probably not worth the effort since this is only an anniversary event. If it crops up again next year, then I'll kick myself and say we should have, maybe even on a separate "Guide to the Anniversary Festivities" page or something. Sethladan 15:13, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
I'd be tempted to remove all locations in "Walkthrough", they are almost everywhere in Bree, sticking to stands, tents, even some flying around you can try to grab, but harder! You can just turn around the boar fountain and grab all needed. --Goingbald (talk) 17:43, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
There are tons of locations indeed. And some are so close to each other that they end up having the same coordinates. Just to clarify, my idea was more to have a gallery page with shots of the various locations, likely broken in sections by area (South Gate, Market Square, etc.) The shots themselves wouldn't be very large, just enough to show the invitation and the terrain immediately around it. Granted, Bree isn't very big and I doubt many would need such a guide to finish the quest, but it could give an idea of how far afield to look. In that way, it could also serve as a visual record of the event. My main concern, though, is that it'd be dozens and dozens of picture files for what's ultimately a very trivial thing.
Ah well, just an idea. XD -- JnK (talk) 18:09, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
It may be a trivial thing, but it's good to be thinking of ways to improve stuff! :) Sethladan 22:00, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
There are a lot of very ordinary places to find envelopes. But, there are a few novel places that folks might not thing to look, or expect to find envelopes. These are places where people usually don't go, or are hard to get to, or unexpected in some other way. Ones I find notable are: under a sleeping drunk, on top of a hay stack, in a cul-de-sac near the town hall, on top of a barrel near the Prancing Pony, on an archery target, in a coffin. Those are more worthy of mention than many of the ordinary and easy to spot locations many of us, including myself, added. RingTailCat (talk) 00:43, 24 April 2012 (EDT)
