Quest Talk:Fanuidhol Skirmish

I think I should mention that I tried this on-level with a Runekeeper. The aoe heals do NOT apply to the soldiers, and even direct heals (soldier targeted) were either misfiring or it was not possible to heal them. This is a simple dps-check quest that seems to fail if you move forward when the soldiers do. The way to do this is to tank them yourself regardless of your class and do not heal them, but let the reset heal them. If it were possible to heal them, I'd have done it, but not even the aoe bubble would apply to them (although that works great on BB soldiers). I had success in Red trait with a focus on AoE's like combustion and Essence of Winter. In blue trait, not even "Our Fates Entwined" was any help with the soldiers, they are extremely squishy. As I recall, this is common in this type of quest/instance. You have to pull the attackers off the NPCs (gain their agro) by attacking them.

Off hand I don't recall if this was bugged in the past and declared WAI (works as intended) or if it really is a bug. I would recommend that you /bug it, and maybe it will change.
