Alternate Dialogue?

When accepting this quest, I see the following dialogue from Galadriel:

'You will need a guide to bring you to the Falls of Rauros, but few of my people ever travel that far. No, do not shake your head in frustration! There is a guide who will suffice. His name is Corudan, and he is the elder brother of Sigileth.'
Galadriel smiles sadly.
'Yes, I see you remember our fierce champion. Without her twin knives and the skill with which she wielded them, the efforts of the Golden Host might have come to naught. Her death in the Battle of the Tower is cause for grief in all who knew her. You will find her brother is cut from similar cloth, but if Corudan shares her ability he does not share her temperament. Find him on Telain Neduil, on the eastern side of Caras Galadhon, and tell him you need him as a guide along the Anduin. He is not called "River-walker" for naught: he is more familiar with the lands through which the Anduin flows than any Elf in Lórien.'

Perhaps the dialogue for this quest depends on whether you've completed the relevant books in Volume II? -- Elinnea (talk) 11:11, 19 October 2012 (EDT)

Or is it race dependent?
Or is it maybe one of those that read one way at the dialogue but another way in the quest log?

The quest was made by RTC, so I was assuming he got the text straight from the game. I'm doing the quest as a hobbit, if that's relevant, but there doesn't seem anything particularly hobbity about the differences. -- Elinnea (talk) 12:01, 19 October 2012 (EDT)
I noticed, was just asking the first questions that came to mind, after yours which is perhaps the answer as well. The text kind of give the impression there is some bit the character has missing and is sent to connect the dots. But...we'll see in the end. -- Zimoon (talk) 12:39, 19 October 2012 (EDT)
Actually I think it would be an interesting development if the quest text is going to start depending on what other quests I've already completed, so I'm kind of hoping that's the answer. Even if it could be a pain for wiki documentation.
In the meantime, here's the extra text from Corudan at Objective 2:
'The Lady has spoken to me about this, <name>, and I would refuse her nothing. But there is another reason I would help you.'
Corudan looks at you, his eyes shining with a curious look of gratitude.
'You were a friend to my sister Sigileth in Mirkwood. When the Hidden Guard and the Golden Host journeyed to the fastness of Dol Guldur, you fought alongside Sigileth. How many times did you save her life, or she yours? I do not know, but I am certain it was more than once. I wish that the tides of fate had swept the two of you together during that final assault on the tower, rather than apart, for had the two of you been together on the stairs perhaps she would have returned from Mirkwood.
'But it was not to be. That is the way of things. I would be honoured to accompany you south along the Anduin. Sigileth's friends are mine as well. We will need supplies. Boats and lembas and paddles... speak to Boordhrist and Faengalph about acquiring such things as we will need. Bordhrist will be on Telain Galadhrim, and Faengalph will be near the surrounding hedge beneath Telain Glorelloth, not far from the entrance to Caras Galadhon.'

My apologies for cluttering this talk page with snatches of dialogue, but I'd like to advance the quest but I would rather type it as I go, rather than going from screenshots. Faengalph has one extra paragraph:
'...knows the lands on either side of Anduin better than any Elf I know.
'His sister Sigileth perished in Dol Guldur. We were not close, she and I, for she had a temper unlike anyone else and to me she was always sharp and stern. It is a shame what happened to her, even so. I am certain she did great damage to her enemies before she fell, and that must be a consolation to Corudan in his grief.
'The boat and the paddles...'
Bordhrist has nothing extra beyond what is already written out. -- Elinnea (talk) 13:09, 19 October 2012 (EDT)
Last one, I think. Corudan has just a bit more for Objective 3:
...'Unfortunately, I lent my bow to Fimloth at Haldirith on my return from that journey. Perhaps we can stop by her encampment when we depart and I can recover my bow from her? I will use a spare until then, but there is nothing quite like your own familiar weapons, is there? Sigileth spoke often of her knives, Lanchigil and Egnassigil, and I feel the same way about my bow, though it has no name. My sister was always better with names.
'But now you should return to the House of Celeborn and speak with your Dunlending friend. Tell her we are almost ready to leave.'
-- Elinnea (talk) 13:22, 19 October 2012 (EDT)
I created the page in its entirety after the release of U8 with an Elf hunter who has not completed the epic quest line in Mirkwood. She's at Quest:Chapter 14: Thangúlhad Endangered, IIRC. RingTailCat (talk) 17:32, 19 October 2012 (EDT)
I would guess then that this extra text depends on having finished either Volume II Book 9, or even the epilogue Sigileth's Knives, since some of this dialogue refers to the events of that quest.
My question then is what to do with it, and similar ones if it comes up again - we are travelling with this character, after all. Normally I'd add it to the Walkthrough & Notes, but I'm not sure whether it would get too lengthy in this case. I could also add the text in-line in italics, with an asterisk foot-note referring to the notes section that would explain the difference. Any thoughts on those two ideas? Or should I just do as I see fit as I follow along in RTC's footsteps? ;) -- Elinnea (talk) 12:22, 22 October 2012 (EDT)
