Walkthrough & Notes

When you open the sack of fishing nets, your time begins immediately. Upon opening the sack, you are granted three skills on their own bar:  Small Fish-Net  Medium Fish-Net  Large Fish-Net The fish you need to catch are lying on the shore around the pools, and they glow faintly, although they do not have sparkles. Most aren't grouped that closely together, but in some rare areas there are several next to each other, allowing for more fish per net if aimed right. You must be mounted on your war-steed to execute the skills. It's wise to be already mounted when you open the sack.

Bestowal dialogue 'In the wake of Núrzum's rampage, my folk need the aid of skilled defenders to prevent such a tragedy from occurring again. I have devised trials to prove the worthiness of those who would come to our aid. 'As you have no doubt learned, my people pride themselves on their horsemanship and mounted combat skills. If you truly wish to aid us further, test your skills by netting fish on the ice near the lake. We must ensure that this trial is capable of challenging a variety of participants, and I will even see to rewarding you if succeed. 'Fish stranded on the ice can be captured in our nets by a person of suitable skill. We will provide you with small, medium, and large nets to be used from horseback. Catch as many fish as you can; success in this trial depends in the haul. 'Speak with me again when you are ready to begin, and may fortune betide you.' This quest requires Mounted Combat This is a timed quest. You must capture 30 fish in nets before time runs out. Background In the wake of Núrzum's rampage, the folk of Wildermore seek the aid of skilled defenders. This quest requires Mounted Combat Note: This quest auto-completes upon beating the course. Objective 1 Talk to Gyric to travel to the Whitshaws and speak with Rilbert Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Gyric is waiting for your decision in Forlaw. You should speak with Gyric when you are ready to travel to the Whitshaws and talk to Rilbert to begin your trial. Gyric: 'You should speak with Rilbert when you arrive in the Whitshaws.' Objective 2 'So, Gyric sent you to be tested? Very well. Take these nets. You will have five minutes to gather up the fish which litter the shores of the lake amid the pools. 'You will find that you must employ careful navigation as well as choosing the best net for each situation to succeed. The larger nets take more time to recover and cannot be used as frequently, so aim them carefully! One final piece of advice: take heed of the frost grims hiding among the pools. They are known to respond with great force against riders who approach them. 'Good luck to you . . . I will begin counting your time immediately.' Use the net sack to obtain your skills Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Use the sack of nets Rilbert gave you to obtain your skills, then begin catching fish along the course. Objective 3 Fish Caught: (0/30) Do not allow time to expire 5m 00s Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Fish of varying sizes can be found throughout the ice pools in the Whitshaws. You should spear as many fish as possible to gain points and complete your trial.
