Dire Horns only drop "meat". [[Sulokil]] drop meat and Doomfold Hides, also count toward the deed: Beast-slayer of Dor Amarth. To cook the raw meat -- double click on the "Raw Meat" in your inventory while near one of the fires on the ground near the Ruins of Díngarth. The Empty Crate for curing the meats is near Ingold.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'If you have a moment, I must discuss something with you. Our provisions have begun to run low. We must not let hunger be the end of this expedition. I need anyone who is able to hunt the beasts that roam Dor Amarth. Lômazar has assured me that the Dire-horns are edible and the Sulokil are rather good when cooked and seasoned.' Background Ingold worries that provisions will run out during the expedition into Mordor and asks you to acquire meats in Dor Amarth for him. Objective 1 Gather meats (0/10) Black Goats and Sulokil can be found sparsely populating the plains and hills of Dor Amarth. You should gather meats from these beasts to help feed the conquest into Mordor. Objective 2 Collect cooked meat (0/10) Cook raw meat (0/5) You should cook the raw meat at one of the burning fires nearby the Ruins of Díngarth. Objective 3 Store the cooked meats for Ingold You should bring the cooks meats back to the Ruins of Díngarth and store them away. Placed the cooked meats in a crate for curing Objective 4 Talk to Ingold Ingold can be found at the Ruins of Díngarth. You should speak with Ingold. Ingold: 'Thank you, <name>, for storing and cooking the meats you have gathered. These rations should last us for some time.'
