Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'I cannot say why I am discomfitted by the Reeve's demeanor, but his apparent lack of regard for impending invasion by the Khundolar disturbs me. I think it best that we forego Athelward's gracious invitation. 'I think it best that my companions and I leave as soon as possible -- tonight, preferably -- and as secretly as possible. Will you aid us?' Background Burnoth is discomfitted by Reeve Athelward's overly gracious demeanor and apparent disregard for the severity of Rohan's situation. Objective 1 Speak with Burnoth to help the Riders Four leave Cliving unnoticed Burnoth is encamped outside the Mead Hall of Cliving. You should speak with Burnoth when you are ready to aid him. Burnoth, son of Baldeg: 'We are ready to leave when you are.' Complete the Instance: Wary Riders quest. The Riders Four have left Cliving Objective 2 Talk to Reeve Athelward at the Mead Hall of Cliving Reeve Athelward is in the Mead Hall of Cliving. Burnoth told you to let Reeve Athelward know that they have graciously declined his invitation and have continued their mission. Athelward: The Reeve looks troubled for a moment, then smiles. 'I understand. They are on a mission of great import and must not delay. We will, of course, perpare as we may here. 'Thank you for delivering Captain Burnoth's message.'
