Bestowal dialogue Tugging on this chain does not seem to accomplish anything. You tug on it again.... Background Lhun Avanc is said to be the lair of the Great Avanc, a creature of legend to the Dunlendings of Carreglyn. The beast is said to use deception to draw its victims near to the water, then it grabs them and drags them under to their deaths. Objective 1 Defeat the Great Avanc The Great Avanc is at its lair in Lhun Avanc. You should defeat the Great Avanc, terror of Carreglyn. You have been ambushed by the Great Avanc! Objective 2 Talk to Gwilum in Barnavon Gwilum is at Barnavon, north of Lhun Avanc. You should tell Gwilum of the death of the Great Avanc. Gwilum: 'So! It was not an old wives' tale after all? The Great Avanc was indeed responsible for the disappearances of many of the folk of Barnavon. 'You have my thanks, <name>, for disposing of this problem.'
