Having seen his people ride to safety at Edoras, Thane Mágla awaits death in his Mead Hall as the White Hand prepares to raze Middlemead.

Background

After sending his people to safety, Thane Mágla remains behind to defend Middlemead from the White Hand.

Objective 1

  • Approach Thane Mágla in the Mead Hall
  • Thane Mágla must not be defeated

Thane Mágla is sitting at his table.

Mágla has asked you to speak with him.

Thane Mágla says, "Come, <name>, drink with me."

Objective 2

  • Share mead with Mágla
  • Thane Mágla must not be defeated

The mead can be found on the table.

Mágla has asked you to share a drink with him.

Objective 3

  • Listen to Thane Mágla

Thane Mágla says, "And to taunt me with the death of my closest kinsman..."
Thane Mágla says, "No fate is too cruel for you!"
Hildulf says, "We shall see, Mágla. I find the White Hand mightier than the lot of you..."

You have encountered Hildulf and Uruks, and should now defeat them.

Hildulf says, "The war is over, Mágla! You said it yourself!"
Hildulf says, "But my riches..."
Thane Mágla says, "Nay! These are your just rewards!"
Thane Mágla says, "Enough of that wretch! Come, we must find the horses and escape!"

Objective 12

  • Flee Middlemead with Thane Mágla
  • Thane Mágla must not be defeated

Horses can be found to the south-east of the traders' pavillion.

Thane Mágla says, "Here they come again!"

You should now escape Middlemead.

Thane Mágla says, "Ah, good fortune at last! I see steeds ahead."
Thane Mágla says, "Run, <name>! We must flee before they can overwhelm us!"
You have discovered steeds left unharmed

Objective 13

  • Talk to Thane Mágla
  • Thane Mágla must not be defeated

Thane Mágla can be found outside the stables of Middlemead.

You have escaped the White Hand forces and made your way to the horses. You should speak to Thane Mágla and flee!

Mágla: 'We must flee, <name>. Let us ride to Edoras, and rejoin with the others.'
