"This is near the location where Vútro encountered the Weeping Warrior. Where then has he gone?"

Background

Bótuz Frostblood and his warriors have left Skarháld in search of Karazgar, the Weeping Warrior.

Objective 1

Bótuz Frostblood and his Zhélruka have crossed Óinsbridge in search of Karazgar.

Bótuz Frostblood:
'Remain on your guard, my warriors, and keep watch for Karazgar. He will not surprise us as he surprised Vútro.'

Objective 2

  • Search for Karazgar with Bótuz and his warriors

Bótuz Frostblood and his Zhélruka have crossed Óinsbridge in search of Karazgar.

Bótuz Frostblood says, Come, my warriors.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Karazgar slowed the West Wind not far from here.
Bótuz Frostblood says, My axe thirsts for Karazgar's blood.
Bótuz Frostblood says, He thinks he can intimidate us? Ha!
Bótuz Frostblood says, Perhaps he can scare Longbeards, but he knows little of our people!
Bótuz Frostblood says, The Zhélruka are fire-forged in the harsh eastern lands.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Let him learn that at his peril!
Bótuz Frostblood says, You know he is called the Weeping Warrior?
Bótuz Frostblood says, Does he think to frighten us with tears?
Bótuz Frostblood says, Ha! I will give him reason to cry!
Bótuz Frostblood says, With this axe of mine I will drive him from the mountains!
Bótuz Frostblood says, Keep alert, my warriors.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Never trust such a villain as Karazgar, that is what I always say.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Did you know he hides his face?
Bótuz Frostblood says, That is quite cowardly.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Perhaps when we find him I will make him remove his mask.
Bótuz Frostblood says, He must be very foul to look upon.
Bótuz Frostblood says, I would never wear such a mask.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Deprive our Zhélruka women of my handsome visage? Never!
Bótuz Frostblood says, Now that would be something worth crying over!
Bótuz Frostblood says, Any sign of Karazgar, my warriors?
Bótuz Frostblood says, Keep looking, for they say he is a cunning one.
Bótuz Frostblood says, I doubt he can outsmart us.
Bótuz Frostblood says, No amount of stealth can help him remain beneath our notice.
Bótuz Frostblood says, My eyesight is considered the finest of all our people.
Bótuz Frostblood says, If I do not see something, it is not worth seeing!
Bótuz Frostblood says, Keep looking. Karazgar will be around here somewhere.
Karazgar says, One of you, at least, has eyes with which to see.
Bótuz Frostblood says, What is this? Karazgar!
Karazgar says, Do you lead this band of dwarves?
Bótuz Frostblood says, I do. My name is Bótuz Frostblood, proud warrior of the Zhélruka!
Karazgar says, I have an offer for you, Zhélruka.
Karazgar says, You would do well to accept it.
Bótuz Frostblood says, I will accept no offer of yours, Karazgar, unless it be for your surrender!
Karazgar says, You have never known a creature such as me, Bótuz Frostblood.
Karazgar says, Consider your words carefully or you will die for them.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Ha! Listen to this braggart, my warriors!
Bótuz Frostblood says, It would take more than one man in a mask to frighten me, Karazgar.
Karazgar says, This is my offer.
Karazgar says, I claim lordship over the lands north of the great forest.
Karazgar says, The Lonely Mountain and the Iron Hills are mine.
Karazgar says, These Grey Mountains belong to me also.
Karazgar says, I will allow you to live if you depart in peace.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Ridiculous.
Karazgar says, You came from the eastern lands? Return there and live.
Bótuz Frostblood says, I reject your offer, Karazgar.
Bótuz Frostblood says, I reject it and all your claims!

Objective 3

  • Remain alert for any treachery by Karazgar

Bótuz Frostblood and his Zhélruka have crossed Óinsbridge in search of Karazgar.

Karazgar says, Come hither, <name>.
Karazgar says, I know of you and would see you more closely.

Objective 4

  • Talk to Karazgar but remain alert for treachery

Karazgar has asked to speak with you.

Karazgar:
'I have taken the measure of these Zhélruka, but you. . . you are a curiosity to me.'
Even behind his mask, you feel the piercing eyes of Karazgar upon you. The urge to draw you weapon and cease their study rises in your heart, a sensation made more unpleasant by this lingering doubt: does this urge come from you or from the Warrior himself? If Karazgar notices your struggle, he gives no sign of it when he next speaks.
'There is a smell about you, <name>. The odour of all your kind. But there is something else, too: the reek of subservience. I know the Master you serve. I have cast off the shackles that once bound me, and now I shall take what is mine. Why should you not do the same?'
Karazgar says, Think on it, <name>.

Objective 5

  • Remain alert for any treachery by Karazgar

Bótuz Frostblood and his Zhélruka have crossed Óinsbridge in search of Karazgar.

Karazgar says, This is the last time I will ask this, Zhélruka.
Karazgar says, Abandon these lands to me, or be destroyed.
Bótuz Frostblood says, I refuse! The North belongs to me and to my people!
Karazgar says, Very well.
Karazgar says, I make to you three promises.
Karazgar says, Three times will I come to your fortress.
Karazgar says, Three times will I rain vengeance upon your people.
Karazgar says, When last I step upon the threshold, no dwarves will remain to oppose me.
Bótuz Frostblood says, You cannot frighten me, Karazgar!
Karazgar says, No, Zhélruka?
Karazgar says, Then I will weep for you.
Bótuz Frostblood says, Bah!
Zhélruka Warrior says, He is gone!

Objective 6

  • Talk to Bótuz Frostblood

Bótuz Frostblood has some words for you now that Karazgar has departed.

Bótuz Frostblood:
'Karazgar speeks nonsense. He is one man, too cowardly to show his face. Without his fell Master he is nothing. Let him come to Skarháld once, twice, thrice; it matters not now often. The Zhélruka will make him regret his visits. Aye, even the Longbeards will oppose him!'
Completed:
Instance: The Warrior Found

Let us return to Skarháld. If these words signify anything more than idle boasting we should prepare for Karazgar's attack.
