- Three Angry Easterling Refugees attack at once when you investigate the east side of the camp. At about half morale, each one will exit combat (morale turns green). However, they will rejoin with full health a few seconds later. It appears that all three must be defeated at approximately the same time, in order to advance.

Background
You have come to the camps of the Easterling refugees, across the river from Dale, to look into word of an incident.
Objective 1
You should investigate the refugee camp where the incident was said to have occurred.
- The place is desolate and quiet as the grave
Objective 2
You should investigate the refugee camp where the incident was said to have occurred.
- SCUFF-MARKS "Signs of some altercation or struggle."
- There are signs of a struggle here
- This Easterling holds a weapon
- This Dale-man died amid a struggle
- SHATTERED CRATE "Broken by a great blow or something heavy falling on it, the contents are beyond recognition."
- Did this freshly shattered crate belong to the Easterlings? Or was it stolen?
- This Easterling was unarmed

- Return to the centre of the camp
You should return to the centre of the refugee camp.
- Shouts issue from the eastern end of the camp
Objective 4
You should investigate the sounds coming from east of the camp.
- Easterlings appear, armed and furious
Objective 5
You should defend yourself from the Easterling attackers.
- Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "You thief, you desecrator! You'll pay!"
- Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "Do you think us all unarmed and helpless?"

- Enkárvo shouts, "Please! Please, all of you, lower your arms!"
- Enkárvo says, "This <race> defended me from harm in Dale. I give you my word."
Objective 6
You should talk to Enkárvo, the young Dorwinion man you met in Dale.
- Enkárvo: 'Friends, truly, this <race> is not one of those who aggrieved you. He/She is my guest and I vouch for him/her. Any harm done from hence be on my head.
- 'Come, good <race>. This was but a misunderstanding. They are angry, and with cause. But not at you. I see doubt in your eyes. The dead of two parties lie on the ground and you have not decided the meaning. You are not quick to judge, and that is well.'
- Enkárvo: 'Come with me then to my own camp, and we will see if you may judge slowly, and justly.'
