King Vékun says, "Indeed, the cup of victory is ours."

King Shâlim Nightcloak says, "Khazad-dûm was the house of your Fathers, not ours."
King Shâlim Nightcloak says, "What should we care to face what lies within?"
King Shâlim Nightcloak says, "Whatever riches it once held were lost long ago!"
King Jegín says, "I am the last of my line, and our dead are beyond counting."
King Jegín says, "How would you pay their weregilds, Longbeard?"
King Jegín says, "Dragons stole your wealth long ago."
King Jegín says, "Would you have us pluck it from their hoards?"
King Jegín says, "Let us be done with this! It is time we returned to our own lands."
King Thráin says, "Well, then?"
King Thráin says, "What of you, my kin? Do you also mean to abandon me?"
Dáin says, "We are faithful to you, King Thráin."

Dáin says, "And it is beyond your skill, or the skill of any here, to vanquish such a foe."
Dáin says, "It would be better to face Smaug himself than such a terror!"
Dáin says, "A day shall come when our people walk Khazad-dûm once more, but it is not this day."
Dáin says, "It will take a power great indeed, and a world changed, before we tread again within its halls."

'Our friends and cousins mourn their losses, and I would not leave them to grieve alone. I have paid my respects to each of them. I am certain they would welcome any words of comfort from you as well, Hermáth.
