Bestowal dialogue

'Those poor dwarves! They met their doom before they could feast their eyes upon the splendour of Moria! Our victory over this gate is a bittersweet one for me.

'I would like to honour the fallen, <name>. Perhaps you can plant a banner at their graves, so that we will all remember their bravery and sacrifice.'

Background

Ráthulf grives for the dwarves who lost their lives to the Watcher in the Water.

Objective 1

  • Plant a banner at the grave of the fallen dwarves

Outside of the Hollin Gate lies a small graveyard where the fallen dwarves lie.

You should plant a banner at the graveyard just outside the Hollin Gate.

Ráthulf: 'The graveyard is just outside, if you wish to pay your respects.'
Planted a banner to honour the dwarves

Objective 2

Ráthulf is at Durin's Threshold in Moria.

You should return to Ráthulf and tell him of your service to the fallen dwarves.

Ráthulf: 'That was a good deed, <name>! Thank you for honouring my stalwart friends. I hope they rest well in sight of the halls of their forefathers.'
Ráthulf says, "You have shown a great kindness to my fallen friends!"
