Walkthrough & Notes

From the entrance to the keep, go straight ahead, there's one in the right-hand corner at the start of the main "street" a few feet ahead of you. Past the crossroads, another one again to the right, still going straight. End of the road, bear left, go up the left-hand stairs, there's one in the corner on your right. Jump back down, go along the rough stone corridor back in the direction of the entrance. Just before the cross-street back towards the crossroads there's one to your right. Returning to the entrance, on your left is a statue against a column, to the left of that is a long stairway downward. At the bottom of the staircase, looking straight ahead, is a small open area with snowbanks. There are two parchments here, one beyond the left snowbank and another along the back wall. Head back toward the long staircase but turn left just before going up. There is a parchment along the wall. Continue forward (away from the stairs), veering left at the pool to find the final parchment along the far wall. Bestowal dialogue 'Greetings, <name>! I hope that you are well. 'Within the depths of Sarnúr, there are tales of lost lore remaining still within the halls. There are those that believe that the Dourhands are searching the area for pieces of faded parchment that are scattered about. Please travel to Sarnúr yourself, and return to me with them. 'Sarnúr can be found south of Thorin's Hall, deep beyond the ruins of Orodost, which is located on the western mountains of Ered Luin.' Background There are rumours that ancient scrolls remain in Sarnúr from the days before the great cities of the Dourhands were destroyed bu the great cataclysm which tore Ered Luin. Objective 1 Collect faded parchment (8) Pieces of faded parchment can be found in Sarnúr, south of Thorin's Hall, reached through the ruins of Orodost. Rútur has asked you to recover any pieces of faded parchment you might find in Sarnúr. Objective 2 Talk to Rútur in Thorin's Hall Rútur is in Thorin's Hall, north of Sarnúr, just outside the Blue Stone Garrison. Now that you possess the pieces of faded parchment that Rútur requested you gather, you should return them to him so that he may decipher them. Rútur: 'Thank you for journeying into that dark place and returning the scrolls. 'I will begin to decipher the runes that are found on this collection of parchment. 'If you journey to Sarnúr again, I may ask that you seek out more of these parchments.'
