Walkthrough & Notes

The Dressup Model near Garbrand wears armour pieces randomly selected from three sets of cosmetic items: Winter (Helegrod) - blue-coloured Regal (Annúminas) - purple-coloured Balladeer (Orthanc) - black-coloured Scattered around Harwick are crates which will give you the cosmetic appearance of one of these armour pieces. You must approach the Dressup Model while wearing the matching cosmetic appearance for each armour slot, but you don't need to be wearing them all at the same time - the dummy gives credit for each piece individually. When you open a crate, you begin wearing the cosmetic item inside, unless you have already shown that item to the Dressup Model. After opening a crate, you have 5 minutes to show the Dressup Model the cosmetic until your appearance returns to normal. The cosmetic appearance does not show on your character Cosmetic Outfits panel. Tip: You can equip the armour peices and move near the model while on your warsteed BUG Sometimes model does not appear to be earning *any* armour. When this occurs there is no way to advance the quest. This may be due to your LOTRO client failing to load the Harwick data for the quest. You'll need to do something to force your LOTRO client to reload the Harwick data; such as (A) logging out and back in, (B) entering an instance, (C) traveling far away from Harwick and then traveling back. Once the data has been loaded the dressup model should be wearing armour. In addition, the model may not appear to be wearing a helmet. In this case, simply try each helmet one at a time until you are given credit for the correct one. These are the locations of the boxes organized by item type. Bestowal dialogue 'The children love to play dress-up with the various pieces of scrap armour that they have been able to find. They do not fit into any of it, but have a model they play with. I am sure they would love to see someone dressed up like it dancing about.' Background The children of Harwick often dress up dolls and dummies in the various shreds of old gear they find strewn about.
