Walkthrough & Notes
The Ice-giants can be found at Jotunstath in south-west Talvi-mûri. [15.0N, 86.7W] They are signature mobs that may not be easy to defeat solo, so bringing a companion or two along is recommended. They have a buff that makes them more difficult to defeat, which can be counteracted by pulling them to one of the hot springs (cracked ice) within their lair.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'To the south and west, Ice-giants have come down from the mountains, threatening all who hunt in those lands. Go forth and meet them, drive them from the lands of the Lossoth. Such a deed will help to prove your loyalty. 'You may find them easier to deal with if you draw them to the hot springs that spout up within their camp. When you have completed this task, return to me for further instruction.' Description Saija has two tasks she requires of you before she imparts her knowledge. Objective 1 Defeat Ice-giants (0/10) Ice-giants can be found south and west of Näky-kolo. Saija has tasked you with defeating the Ice-giants that have come down from the mountains. She also suggests pulling them onto hot springs to weaken them. Objective 2 Talk to Saija Saija is at Näky-kolo north west of Kuru-leiri. Having defeated the Ice-giants, you should return at once to Saija. Saija: 'Only a <race> of great valour would dare to face such mighty and terrible creatures. You have proved your prowess.'
