Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue ‘The Battle of the Black Gate is nearly done, <name>. We must fight for as long as we can, in memory of our friends and in defence of those endangered by Mordor. This may be Sauron’s hour, but we will make him earn it with blood!’ Background The Host of the West fights desperately for its survival as the forces of Mordor close in for the kill, and the Battle of the Morannon nears its end. Objective 1 Defeat foes at the Battle of Morannon (0/3) Foes encircle the Host of the West as the Battle of the Black Gate rages around you. Objective 2 Talk to Elrohir Elrohir stands on the north west side of the slag-hill and wishes to speak with you. Elrohir: 'I see something on the distant horizon, but I cannot yet make it out. Does a new threat seek to strike from the rear? 'Go to Mithrandir atop the slag-hill and see what he thinks of this new arrival, <name>. Quickly!' Objective 3 Talk to Mithrandir atop the eastern slag-hill during the Battle of Morannon. Mithrandir stands atop the eastern slag-hill while the Battle of the Morannon rages all about him. Elrohir has seen something on the horizon and has asked you to tell Mithrandir about this new threat. Mithrandir: 'What now, <name>? You bring tidings from the sons of Elrond? They did not wish to tell me themselves?' The Wizard readies a further rebuke for the Elves, but it remains unsaid. His eye lights upon the distant horizon, and wonder brightens his face.
