As soon as the quest is turned in, Goldhead will advance towards Tirith Rhaw. Helping him attack the keep is not required for quest completion.

Quest Text

Goldhead, the lord of the Morningthaw bears offered his assistance in exchange for proof that you are loyal to the bears and the cause of the Free Peoples.
