Bestowal dialogue

This food sack is empty...there is not a crumb in sight. It is clear that the injured man has not had access to any food for quite a while.

He may have scrounged for food nearby before abandoning his dangerous little encampment. You should see if there is anything edible-looking nearby.

Background

The injured man was evidently very hungry and may have been tempted to eat from the questionable berry-bushes surrounding his campsite.

Objective 1

  • Search berry-bushes for signs of being picked (0/8)

If the injured man hunted for food, it is likely that he did not look far from the camp.

You should search north-east and south-east of the camp for anything edible the Rohirrim man may have found. It is likely he will still be hungry after his failed attempt at setting up camp.

This bush has been recently picked, but the berries look suspiciously inedible....

Objective 2

  • Talk to Baillas to ask him for help

Baillas is in Fangorn Forest, hoping for news of an injured man who walked by him.

You should find Baillas once more and ask the old Ent for help finding the Rohirrim.

Baillas: You explain to Baillas that you have examined several berry-bushes, and many have been picked over recently, but it is unlikely that these berries are edible.
If these have been eaten by the injured man, his situation may be more dire than what the Ent first beheld.
