Bestowal dialogue

'I confess that I am unable to disguise the foul taste of this toad-meat, <name>, but perhaps the stew is not a complete loss.

'Perhaps if you bring this stew to our host, Candelleth, she will understand how truly desperate we are for something other than cram. I have seen her often standing at the edge of the ruin down the stairs from here, staring out across Tâl Bruinen.'

Background

Indor has abandoned his attempts to produce a stew worthy of consumption from the toads of Tâl Bruinen.

Objective 1

Candelleth stands within the ruins at Echad Candelleth, in Tâl Bruinen, down the stairs from Indor's camp.

Indor has asked you to bring his failed stew to Candelleth so that she may understand how desperate the hunters are for something other than cram.

Indor says, "This is going to be great! Ha ha!"
Candelleth: 'I need not taste the stew to know that it cannot be eaten. The toads of Tâl Bruinen are most foul.
'I am not unsympathetic to the plight of these men, <name>, but I bade them leave at once, for the dangers here are great. I even offered to have them safely escorted to the Last Bridge, but they refused. They believe that we are magical creatures and will soon cause the evils which have befallen this land to vanish. They do not understand that war is afoot.
'We cannot offer more than we have.'

Objective 2

Indor is encamped at the head of the stairs above the ruins at Echad Candelleth, in Tâl Bruinen.

Candelleth regretfully explained that the Elves cannot offer more to the hunters than they already have. You should explain to Indor that war is afoot and supplies are short.

Indor: 'Candelleth will not help us further? She spoke of war, but that is absurd. Elves are a secretive people, and I think she just wants to be rid of us. Well, we will not be deterred so easily.
'I am grateful for your help, but it seems it was of no use.'
