Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'So we are to meet beneath a bent tree near the Mouths of the Entwash? Let us go and not linger here one worrisome moment longer!' Background After a close encounter with Jarl Akhiz and his men, it is time to reunite with the others. Objective 1 Find the meeting location Find the meeting location, a tree east of Bâr Nadhron, by the Mouths of the Entwash. You are surprised by an ambush! Objective 2 Defeat the ambushers (0/4) You have been set upon by Variag assailants near the Mouths of the Entwash, east of Bâr Nadhron. Defeat them and do not lead them to the meeting place. Defeated an ambusher (4/4) Objective 3 Find the meeting location Find the meeting location, a tree east of Bâr Nadhron by the Mouths of the Entwash. Yet more Variags appear! Objective 4 Defeat the ambushers (0/4) You have been set upon by more Variag assailants near the Mouths of the Entwash, east of Bâr Nadhron. Defeat them and do not lead them to the meeting place. Defeated an ambusher (4/4) Objective 5 Talk to Togbor The party is under a tree east of Bâr Nadhron by the Mouths of the Entwash. You should hear what Togbor has to say. Togbor: 'Well, we have made it out somehow, haven't we? Not... all of us.' He grimaces and looks about him. 'Gondrad! Where in all Gondor had you got off to, and how is it you are here?' Objective 6 Talk to Gondrad The party has met under a tree east of Bâr Nadhron by the Mouths of the Entwash. You should hear what Gondrad has to say. Gondrad: 'Ah, friend! The prank your brother Narvagol played upon me has born ill fruit, indeed. 'In revenge for failing to polish his armour, he hid my belongings far and wide about Ost Rimmon. You could not find me, for I was scouring the cellar, and then you left so Lady Glánhar has showered abuse without respite upon me ever since!' Objective 7 Talk to Togbor The party has met under a tree east of Bâr Nadhron by the Mouths of the Entwash. You should hear what Togbor has to say. Togbor: 'Gondrad, know that Narvagol is dead. Father lies dead by his side. Your luck was not ill but a supreme blessing, for we were taken before even the sun had reached noon that day, and you, a commoner unworthy of ransom, would not have been spared. 'They wished to ransom all of us, of course, but Father and Narvagol sought glory instead and won it. We might have too, but the curs threw nets over us and saw us disarmed before we could cause any trouble. Then you came to our rescue, and here we are. 'All, that is, except for my brother Malhar.'
