Bestowal dialogue

While many flee before the coming Gondorian army, some small number of Udûn's forgeworkers and Men from distant lands may take the knee and surrender themselves. These few should be afforded the mercy and respect of the Free Peoples.

Background

While many flee before the coming Gondorian army, some small number of Udûn's forgeworkers and Men from distant lands may take the knee and surrender themselves.

Objective 1

  • Accept surrenders (0/10)

Accept the surrender of any Forgeworkers or Men who offer it.

Frightened Nurnhoth says, "I surrender!"
Frightened Dwarf says, "The Great Eye is gone. I bow before Gondor!"
Frightened Dwarf says, "Take me as a prisoner. Anything is better than this place!"
War-weary Easterling says, "Take me as a prisoner. Anything is better than this place!"

Objective 2

You should visit the Udûn Foothold to check on the fate of the surrendered peoples.

Barathron: 'So you are the ones who sent all those poor souls our way? They have not proved themselves dishonorable thus far, and waited peacefully until they were escorted out past the Black Gates to be served justice, as is their due.
'You have done right in taking their word, I think.'
