Pinnath Gelin
Location
- The Pinnath Gelin or Green Hills was a green and fertile fife in western Gondor between the river Lefnui, parts of the White Mountains, Anfalas along the coast, and the river Morthond (Blackroot).
Lore
- As Pinnath Gelin was a loyal province of Gondor at the time of the War of the Ring when the warning beacons were lit, Hirluin the Fair, with some 300 well-armed men all dressed in green, marched to the aid of Minas Tirith during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. Hirluin was killed by Orcs during the ensuing battle.
