This is the version of Piercing Cry in  Melody stance. For the versions in the other two stances, see  Dissonant Piercing Cry and  Resonant Piercing Cry.

Effects

At level 20 or higher, this skill also removes one Corruption effect from the target.

• The trait tree The Warrior-Skald increases the range by +5m.
• The trait Resonant Piercing Cry in the Watcher of Resolve trait tree makes  Raise the Spirit and  Bolster Courage more effective after scoring a critical hit with this skill.
• The trait Inspiring Cries and Calls in the Watcher of Resolve trait tree adds a chance for the cooldown of Piercing Cry (among others) to reset, when using a healing ability.
• The trait Concussive Shout in the Warrior-Skald trait tree increases this skill's critical chance by 30%.
• The trait Sharing a Story in the Protector of Song trait tree resets this skill's cooldown when you score a critical hit with a Ballad skill.
• The trait Shielding Cry in the Protector of Song trait tree lets this skill apply a damage reflection shield to your fellows.

Legendary Item Legacies

• The Minstrel weapon legacy Piercing Cry Damage and imbued legacy Piercing Cry Damage increase this skill's damage.
