Nuker

A Nuker (or a DPS'er) is a person who can deal massive amounts of damage, from range. Nukers generally wear light or medium armor, and do not survive long in melee combat. As such, most nukers will have some form of basic crowd-control to regulate the number of enemies they need to engage at one time or rely on movement in combat (kiting). In LOTRO, Hunters and Rune-keepers are the primary nukers, although Burglars and Lore-masters can deal moderate amounts of damage, and so can serve as "off-nukers."
