Nen Hithoel is a lake within the East Wall, in East Rohan. [56S, 46W]

Just beyond the Argonath on the Anduin River lies the beautiful Nen Hithoel, nestled in the mountains of the East Wall. Beyond it, the river plunges into the majestic Falls of Rauros, preventing any travel by boat in that direction. The falls effectively break the Great River into two sections, with the northern section running through Rhovanion and stopping at Nen Hithoel, and the souther section running from the bottom of the falls until the Bay of Belfalas.

Nen Hithoel was the last part of the journey of the Fellowship of the Ring before it was broken on the shores of the great lake.
