Using this skill causes Ballad Damage Bonus to occur on yourself. Up to three Ballad buffs can be active on a Minstrel.

• The trait Critical Strikes from The Warrior-Skald Traits branch increases the Tactical Critical Multiplier and Critical Chance of this skill by 1 to 5 percent.
• The trait Piercing Ballads from The Warrior-Skald Traits branch increases the Critical Chance of this skill by 3 to 15 percent (3 per Rank).
• The trait Emboldening Finish from The Warrior-Skald Traits branch enables a 10 to 30 percent chance for this skill to add 3 percent to the stacking damage enhancement activated by using the Coda.
• The trait Inspiring Finish from The Watcher of Resolve Traits branch enables a 10 to 30 percent chance for this skill to add 3 percent to the stacking Outgoing Healing enhancement activated by using the Coda.
