Minathranc is a landmark within Annúminas, in Evendim. ^{[17.6S, 68.5W]}

This is a large section just inside the Eastern Gate of Annúminas and below and east of Ariant, the great bridge over to Tyl Annûn. Once this must have been a bustling area along the high road to Men Erain and beyond, the overland connection to the Arnorian Kingdom. Now Minathranc is overrun with many Angmarim who have set up smaller and larger camps, guarding the trail to the innermost of the city. The faint of heart might rather try Adannon, the western gate.
