The rare resources that can be found are:

•  Chunk of Bright Brimstone used by Metalsmiths
•  Chunk of Lime used by Scholars
•  Chunk of Pink Rock-salt used by Jewellers
•  Dawn-rose used by Jewellers
•  Aquamarine used by Jewellers
•  Hard Whetstone used by Weaponsmiths

The very rare resource that can be found is:

•  Mithril Flake used by many vocations in special recipes

Locations

Khazâd Deposits can be found throughout Moria. Two particularly good areas to farm are the Tumun-ghâr and Fulz-zahar crafting instances in the Redhorn Lodes. The instances reset the ore deposits every three days. Sometimes the instances spawn cave-claws which drop  Magnificent Hide.
