Host of Valinor

The Host of Valinor was the mighty army that overthrew Morgoth and his legions at the end of the First Age.

The Host was composed of Vanyar Elves led by Ingwion, Noldor Elves of Valinor, the Maia Eönwë and other Maiar and some Valar.

The Host traveled to Middle-earth on ships, driving away the Orcs of the shores of Belegaer once they landed.

The host then continued inland, starting the War of Wrath, where the Great Eagles and Eärendil the Mariner also participated. In the end, they were victorious, and Morgoth was cast out of Arda for all time.
