Globsnaga

Globsnaga (Black Speech for Filth-slave) refers to creatures in Moria suffering from a fungal infection emanating from the Foundations of Stone.

The disease is characterized by bulging red growths, and the infected are driven mad with anguish. Orc-kind, trolls, and spiders are the most commonly encountered Globsnaga, and have carried the plague as far as the Sixteenth Hall.
