Ghámgur is without doubt the hardest roving threat of Mirkwood. Even though the quest implies it's meant to be defeated with a full fellowship, you probably need more players to beat the considerable DPS check. Approximately every five to ten seconds, Ghámgur gains a stacking buff that increases his melee damage by 50%. These buffs cannot be removed, hence the DPS race: you need to kill Ghámgur before he goes around one-shotting everyone. Because of the high outgoing damage, it may be feasible to slow him and let the tank kite. Unfortunately, Ghámgur occasionally gets a tier five corruption that increases his run speed by 50%, among other things, making him impossible to be kited. This corruption, however, can be removed. You will need to coordinate corruption removals with multiple players, so all five tiers are removed.
