Elrond's Library
Region: The Trollshaws
Area: Rivendell Valley
Location: The Last Homely House
Location: [29.6S, 3.3W]

Elrond's Library is an interior within the Last Homely House in Rivendell Valley. [29.6S, 3.3W]

At the southern wing of the second floor of Elrond's house this magnificent library is found, housing books, lore, and artifacts in a huge hall built in two levels. This is where the Elf-lord Elrond Halfelven feels most comfortable and where he can usually be found, at the lower level of the library. This is one of four crafting areas within Rivendell Valley and for Scholars this library houses many Superior Studies as well as Scholar trainers, both novice and expert. (The Scholar's Guild-hall is located just under this library, somehow.)

A library in Rivendell is not mentioned in Tolkien's works, however, considering the massive amount of lore Elrond has access to, and the many thousand years he have had to obtain scrolls and artefacts of all sorts, it is very likely that the Last Homely House indeed housed a library of this caliber.
