Location

The East-garth is the eastern-most District of Pelargir, adjoining the Shipwrights' Ward. ^{[82.6S, 31.7W]}

Description

The East-garth comprises roughly one-third of the city, including the East Gate and the eastern Stable. Most noticeable is the monumental statue of King Minardil's Memorial opposite the gate. Before the Corsair invasion, East-garth was home to many craftsmen and merchants, and many fine examples of the stone-carvers and builders arts are evident. Now, although most of the district has been retaken by the soldiers of Gondor, the south-east section is still occupied by lawless toughs and brigands.
