Acquirement

The instructions  Protector Skill: Defender's Strike, available at level 55, must be purchased from a Skirmish Captain. Once read, the trait will show in the Skirmish Trainer panel for acquirement & upgrade.

Quest

Rank 1 is automatically granted if you pick the Protector Instructions as the reward for the quest Skirmishes, eliminating the need to purchase the Protector Skill: Defender's Strike from the Skirmish Captain.
