Dargum, a unique orc emissary of the White Hand, was given the task of removing the hand of a local statue, the Cuthstan, to be used by Saruman as an emblem of his treacherous bid for power. The statue's missing hand is seen later within the game, although its origin may not be specified.

Dargum can be found camped beside the steep river-side cliffs midway along the Limlight River in the Wailing Hills [27.0S, 64.7W] just below Stangard in the Great River.
