Location
The Chaydash is the bloodstained river that flows through the Mokál Rukh and into Seregost, on the Plateau of Gorgoroth.
It begins above the northern end of the Mokál Rukh, where the Ered Lithui and the Mithram Spur meet, and comes down in a series of waterfalls. [44.9S, 35.3E] Thence it winds its way through the small valley to the rear walls of Seregost. [48.3S, 34.1E] Within the Blood-fort, the water of the river is raised high and released in streams down from the front walls of Seregost and from the monstrous stone face carved into the facade of the citadel. [49.0S, 32.8E] The water spreads from here into the marshy ground of Agarnaith.
