Slayer Deeds require you to defeat a certain number of creatures, as do certain Racial Deeds. These are a lot easier to accomplish if you target these creatures in specific locations where they congregate. In a Fellowship every member's victory also count towards the others' totals. You can also purchase Slayer Deed Acceleration from the LOTRO Store.

Creatures defeated in one region do not count towards deeds from other regions, but Racial Deeds count defeats of the same type of creature from every region.
