Category:Settlements

Settlements are friendly locations with at least a sensible level of services. Frankly, even if the in-game map displays a "settlement" blue icon but the services are very minor, we find it more informative to mark those locations as "landmarks", though with an informative note. And the opposite, locations with notable level of services will be marked as "settlements". Compare with e.g. Barachen's Camp which affords very minor services.

Any page using the Location Settlements template will be contained in this category. Those pages may be marked with any of Category:Cities, Category:Towns, Category:Outposts, Category:Villages, and sometimes Category:Camps to denote the level of services and/or atmosphere of the location.
