Baugarch can be found wandering the eastern section of Chetwood, in Bree-land. [27.4S, 44.0W] He is found wandering in or near the Blackwold Headquarters. [26.7S, 44.5W] He has also been spotted near [27.1S, 43.1W].

- Wandering through the Chetwood and the Blackwold camp is a vile Warg that came with Éogan out of the North. Baugarch is feared by all who dwell there, even the wild wolves who make their den to the west of the Blackwold encampment. An unwary woodsman has vanished in the Chetwood, taken by the evil Baugarch.
- In the prologue quest Cutleaf's good intentions Ellie says the following lines:
- "I listened to Skunkwood, their leader, and helped them breed some wolves. I admit, I did it for the promise o' riches, but I regret it. Jagger Jack is their real wolf-master, and he had me breed a local wolf with one o' them Wargs."
- This suggests that Baugarch is the father of the wolfhounds.
