Location

Barashal is a boss found within Barashal's Domain in Carn Dûm. He is in the northeast corner of the eastern area of the instance ^{[13.8N, 32.8W]}, and can be reached by entering Barashal's Domain through the sewers and following the ramps.

Quotes

He will shout (from off screen) "Smash the bridges to pieces! Stop them at all costs!" when you defeat the first Gothorog. This starts the timer.

Timer/Reaching Him

Once you defeat his first gothorog minion (the troll-kind creature with two hammers), you will then be running a gauntlet of single gertheryg as you approach him on an ever-upward path. However, if you do not defeat each one and start combat on the next one (you only have to initiate combat to be within the timer), then that gothorog will use his hammer to break the bridge in front of you. Once this is done, you have to backtrack and go down and around some other ramps to reach Barashal. This takes more time and is less entertaining than charging up the ramp. (If you are working on your trolls deed, you may like to do it that way, but those paths will also remain open after Barashal is dead.) Barashal operates in the same manner: you must start combat with him as soon as you can, to avoid losing the bridge. Start the gauntlet with all foods and buffs refreshed, so that you do not have to waste precious seconds along the way.

Abilities

Barashal will boot you around, so do drag him up to the top of his area and keep your back to the fountain. The fight will become endless unless you interrupt his heal inductions, so keep your interruption skills available at all times. Otherwise, this is a simple tank and spank operation.
