Achathras

Achathras, the Mountain of the Moon, is the tallest mountain in the Ephel Dúath range, and looms over the south side of the Morgul Vale. The fortress of Minas Morgul has been built on its northern flank, and fell beasts breed cleft in the mountain above the city.
