• The following messages may be seen when completing this deed:

That was a deep well

You have injured yourself in a fall!

You have been incapacitated by misadventure.

You collapse from injuries sustained in a fall!

• Previously, this quest was bugged and would not trigger consistently when a character jumped into the well, requiring multiple attempts to accomplish this deed. For this reason, some older characters may have missed this hidden deed.
• This deed shows in the Deed Log under "Moria Upper Levels" (since Update 7).
• In many cases, when jumping into the well, the character will land badly resulting in the character's defeat. Any character surviving the jump will splash down into the Water-works, near Melmar. ^{[17.1S, 114.7W]}
• Falling Injury Immunity will not save the character.
