Description
Physical Description: Tall, well-built, and usually stern-looking, Vaeldur stands proud to be a descendant of the ancient Edain, and to have Numenórean blood running through his veins, however spent and banished it may be considered. His long, brown hair, his shiny armour, his proud weapon, and his Man-At-Arms Herald, Edainion are never amiss when he is around. He is a true signal of Hope for the North, and From the South.
Personality Description: Solemn, proud, noble, honorable and determined, Vaeldur's strong voice is a sign of his good Captaincy skills. His smile, though rarely seen, is more common than a chuckle of his. All appropriate manners from Southern nobility is visible in his actions, his words, his thoughts. All the while, he strives to make himself be renowned by aiding others in need, protecting their homelands, and keeping Evil at bay.
Bio
Vaeldur Dagonar, born 3026 T.A in Minas Tirith, Gondor. His Father, Vallor, was a High Captain and Guard of the Citadel, as well as Banner-Holder of the Swan-Knighs of Dol Amroth. Excluding his military career, Vallor, son of Valdror, was known for his generosity and deep love towards his family and country. A deep sense of duty burned deep within him, even until his death at the hands of Corsairs and Black Numenóreans in the sieges of Umbar. Vaeldur, hearing of his father's fall, headed towards his Superior Captain, Boromir II, son of Denethor II, and requested to heed the call for aid in the North, hoping to be one of the many who represents Gondor and carries the banner of the King to fight Angmar and the Witch-King. All this to run from pained memories, and a feeling of dread and ominous doom. On one of his travels to meet up with Rangers on the Shire-Borders, he met an unusually eager and adventurous hobbit by the name of Hildifast Delveburrow of the Fallohides. Finding a friend, a comrade-in-arms, and one who shares his ideals to the very core, (as well as a love for pipe-weed), he smiled for the first time since his father's mound-raising. A year later, after much discussion, it was official that Hildifast the Half-ling would be Vaeldur's son and Heir. One of the strangest things to ever happen in Middle-Earth...
