Keryn is from Woodhall in the Shire, and still very much enjoys the close-knit community there. She has become aware of the dangers facing her people, but at present is content to farm & cook food for her friends who are out there fighting evil.
Levelling and Undying
Keryn followed a slightly unconventional approach to levelling, largely because she has had her friends who had explored the world ahead of her to consult with. On returning to the Shire after a brief visit to Archet, she assisted the various post-Hobbits re-establish the Quick Post, thus reaching level 10.
She then started cooking and farming, and worked with her friends to make all the crafting items for the helping people out crafting quests, thus gaining another couple of levels. After this she settled in the Shire, working on mastering both farming and cooking; in the process soloing to the top of Weathertop on behalf of Alken Chubb, and being escorted to the Giants Halls in the Trollshaws by a kinsman who then killed a boar for her. She also gained all the drop pipe-weed seeds from her friends and cross-bred all of the available weeds.
When extra vault space was made available depending on level she worked on the Shire quests until she reached 15 and thus had extra space to store seeds and food. She also ran a few quests in Ered Luin to help a kinsman and reached 16. She then settled back into Shire life, cooking food for her friends, and farming as needed, including juicy blackberries for Amber the Scholar.
Eventually she decided it was her time to venture out into the world and help hold back the forces of darkness - inspired both by her friends, and by a young Hobbit Minstrel called Carregiadoc...
She moved to Bree and began to help people there; on reaching level 17 she discovered she had gained the title "The Unscathed". She immediately decided that she would try and do what none of her friends had managed - and gain "The Undying". So the next three levels progressed with extra care in the selection of quests and companions, and eventually she reached The Undying.
She continued to exercise care in her choice of quests, and was 27 when she ran into a 28 Elite Master Gaunt Shade Caller and his pet Summoned Wight (27) in the Fields of Fornost. She escaped once, but was not so fortunate the second time.
Crafting (May 08)
After much thought Keryn chose to change from a Yeoman with GM Cook and Farmer to a Tinker; thereby keeping Grand Master Cook, but being able to prospect to help her friends. Amber would take on her role as farmer as she had already mastered Tier 3.
