Why do we have Template:Kinship and Template:Kinships? Is any of those two a remnant of the other? --EoD (talk) 10:05, 18 October 2011 (EDT)
- Kinship (no "s") is a Banner to be displayed across the top of a Kinship page. It was apparently the Original mechanic used on the Wiki for Kinship pages.
- Kinships ("s") is the current template to be used to identify a Kinship page and supply various information about the kinship. It transcludes the Banner "kinship."
- Today, there is a mix of old kinship pages which only use the Banner, and newer pages which use the full template.
