list of unofficial servers specialties https://forums-old.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32576&highlight=%22pvp+server%22

new look

Nice looking page!!! Two suggestions: 1) Decrease the US Flag file size or use |18px]. 2)Based on Turbine's definition of North America it's US and Canada, maybe they need to look on a map. So Canadians add your flag too. :) I noticed the EU realms (via codemasters) actually tagged each world, not by country but by language. Maybe we should also toss up a few more flags for the Oceanic Server? --Lotroadmin 19:14, 18 April 2007 (PDT)

looks interesting and a bit funny with eu servers taking lesser space =)
one thing bothers me though - big space before the lists if content box is shown... --Xander 00:42, 19 April 2007 (PDT)
I made the width the same for both US and EU servers, and also made the US flag smaller. I didn't ::go down to the 18 px size though, I guess I feel that since it is only listed once at the top ::instead of next to each server it should be bigger <shrug>

--Nish

I removed the TOC, look any better? The page is so short now that a TOC is almost pointless. --Lotroadmin 23:05, 19 April 2007 (PDT)

NPOV

i think this page should observe NPOV - neutral point of view... and the recent addition is biased or at least appears to be so... either we make a disclaimer about unofficial vote, or we take those away... --Xander 15:21, 10 May 2007 (PDT)

By all means include a (small/discreet) disclaimer. I agree the current edit feels very much like an angry pov, not a neutral one & yes, go for the roll back. DancesInTrees 00:09, 11 May 2007 (PDT)
Anyone against doing a rollback and remove the unoffical votes? --Hinney 00:14, 11 May 2007 (PDT)
Are the unofficial votes having any effect in practice? If so, leave them; if not, remove them. (We Euro's can't check ;) ) DancesInTrees 00:19, 11 May 2007 (PDT)
OK, I've rolled it back, made the "unofficial votes" less emphatic & added a disclaimer. DancesInTrees 01:18, 13 May 2007 (PDT)

Monster Tribes

I recently noticed an addition to one of the server kinship pages, which added a monster player tribe (on Snowbourn). Although I'd say that isn't the right place to put it, I don't see a proper place either. Perhaps we should consider adding a page per server for monster play tribes? --Fedaykin 09:32, 29 August 2007 (PDT)

I'm inclined to leave them on the same page - they are still kinships (albeit by another name), and they are still on that server. I'll change the Kinships_of_Snowbourn one now; see what you think. DancesInTrees 14:27, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
Looks great, that'll do :) --Fedaykin 15:07, 29 August 2007 (PDT)

Russian Servers Are Now Closed

What should we do with the Russia-related content on this wiki. I've updated at least most of the pages attached to this page concerning the closure with the following stub:

Should we consider deleting the pages and content about Russia? Turbine may consider bringing them into the EU circle, too, so should we wait? --Gestrid (talk) 07:18, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

I think it's nice to have this info still around after the servers have been closed. That said, I've replaced the stickers with written text, it being 5 years later and all. --Ravanel (talk) 23:25, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Recent changes

Hey all,

Could we revert the changes made in October 2018 on the list of servers, please? I think we need to have a list of all the servers that used to exist even if they are now closed. Knowing their names and regions is useful for players coming back to the game and trying to remember which server they used to play on. Thank you! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Papaye92 (Contribs • User Talk) at 31 October 2018.

Nobody replied, but seems the closed worlds are live on the page once more. :) --Ravanel (talk) 23:18, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
