Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Now, one of the things you have to understand about Mazog, friend, is that he is far more organized than the average Orc or goblin. This makes him far more dangerous, as you can imagine. 'It also gives him a weakness: because he tends to marshal his troops more like an army than like a rag-tag assortment of tribes and war-bands, he must commit orders to writing or depend upon messengers. 'Look for Dhognûrz, one of the Moria Orc-lieutenants, on this side of the Bridge of Khazad-dûm, south-east of here. He seems to me the most likely to have a copy of Mazog's orders.' Background Geirfast wants to know more about why Mazog's Orcs had all those supply-carts. He thinks that Dhognûrz, one of the lieutenants, might know. Objective 1 Collect a copy of the orders The orders will be found on the Moria Orc-leaders gathering just before the Bridge of Khazad-dûm in Nud-melek, south-east of the Twenty-first Hall. Geirfast told you of a meeting of Mazog's lieutenants. He believes one of them will have a note detailing their plans. Geirfast: 'Head to the fallen bridge. One of the Moria Orc-lieutenants, a vile type of warrior called a Dhognûrz that has been sighted around there, will surely have what we need.' Collected a copy of the orders Objective 2 Talk to Geirfast in the Twenty-first Hall Geirfast is in the Twenty-first Hall, far to the west of the Bridge of Khazad-dûm. Geirfast will want to study the orders as soon as possible. Geirfast: 'Let us see what you have recovered, my friend.... 'Hammer and tongs! It's the Dale! How dare they? 'The Orcs are going to try and invade the Dimrill Dale, <name>! This cannot be permitted!'
