This skill is affected by the elemental affinity of the skill that was used previously. It takes this form if the last skill used was a lightning skill. It becomes Improved Rune-sign of Flame if it follows a fire skill, and Improved Rune-sign of Winter if it follows a frost skill. The default form, if no prior skill has been used, is Improved Rune-sign of Storm. Affinity is maintained both in and out of combat.
